MTV BRINGS CRIBS HOME FURNISHINGS COLLECTION

New York, NY – Date TK- MTV: Music Television today announced the launch of the MTV Cribs Home Furnishings fall collection. The new back-to-school line features three new celebrity designer inspired environments that will be available in JC Penney stores, catalogs and online at jcpenney.com/mtv beginning June 15.

This home line is based on the original MTV home/lifestyle show “MTV Cribs,” which for 10 seasons has given viewers a personal tour of the hottest celebrities’ homes….from Missy Elliott to Shaquille O’Neal to Maroon 5, and this season featuring Omarion, Boston Red Sox superstar Johnny Damon, and Lil Jon, among others. The line offers everyone a lavish celebrity décor at an affordable price. The CRIBS collection includes all the essentials to lounge like an A-lister, including lighting, chairs, bedding, rugs and draperies. The ensembles range in color and style and come with a “Crib sheet” that outlines the ABCs of decorating and provides tips on how to mix and match Cribs Home line pieces to obtain different celebrity styles.

“The launch of our Cribs collection was a hit among our audience, and we’re excited to launch our new fall collection just in time for back-to-school,” said Paul White, Senior Director of Licensing and Merchandising. “These new designs are inspired by the latest celebrity trends and styles and offer our viewers an entirely new look as they head to college or re-decorate their bedrooms for the fall.”

Following is an overview of the new fall designs:

Animal Prints – A design classic and a hot runway look. MTV Cribs TOPAZ mixes velvet details with timeless animal prints to give over-the-top glamour. Perfect fit with a chandelier lamp, a sequin pillow and a cheetah rug to pull the look together.
Asian Influence – MTV Cribs Jade Collection gives you everything you need to create that sought after zen – glam space. The Crib sheet will show you how to mix the gorgeous satin bedding with bamboo details plus cherry blossom accents, with a little animal for a designer room.
Pro Style – From the court to the bedroom – basketball jersey bedding paired with sport stripes help create interiors that any athlete would dig. MTV Cribs Home Furnishings has all the elements to pull your place together, and the Crib sheet will show you how to pair a croc lamp with a zebra rug and great red stripe accents for an all-star look.

The Cribs Home Furnishings Collection is sold through JC Penney. Comforter sets range from 129.99 for twin to 189.99 for King, while accessories such as faux fur pillows and zebra-print rug range from $29.99 to $89.99.
